| Rams sign OSU's Bernard to free-agent contract
Oregon State running back Yvenson Bernard has signed a free agent deal with the St. Louis Rams.
The 5-foot-8, 204-pound Bernard totaled 3,862 rushing yards in his Beaver career, second-most in Beavers history.
But despite his great college career, Bernard went undrafted because of concerns about his speed and power.
If Bernard makes the roster, he will be a backup to Steven Jackson, the player he replaced in Corvallis.
